Richmond Farmers’ Market seeking market manager

The Richmond Farmers’ Market is looking for a market manager for the 2020 season.

This is a part-time paid position to manage one of the area’s oldest and most locally loved markets. Candidates should be well organized and community-minded, with good communication skills, basic computer knowledge and attention to detail.

Duties include: communicating with vendors; overseeing weekly markets; organizing vendor setup; running credit/EBT machine; scheduling weekly live music; collecting reports; and answering questions and inquiries from the public.

The market is also seeking volunteers to help the market thrive and grow in the coming seasons. We have an opening for a new Richmond Farmers’ Market Board member, and are also looking for additional volunteers to help make the market a success.
